Yes I was alone but met lots of very encouraging people when I camped. Prior to the trip I had just the opposite from family who were probably getting my obituary ready. I am getting revenge though by hinting that I might go again this Summer,
This photo (late ‘70s or early ‘80s) shows my 15’ Grumman canoe on top of my 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass. What a great car that was. Location: the Golden Road in Maine. I think that’s either Chesuncook Lake or Ripogenus Lake in the background.
