I’m planning to help a friend try to mend ruptures in her boat, which is Carbonlite, an ABS plastic with an acrylic urethane. I see recommendations for gluing Carbonlite with Devcon Plastic Welder adhesive. I’m inclined to try it with G-flex, since it seems to glue to everything. There will be a lot of gluing one edge to another edge.

Has anyone glued Carbonlite, and if so, please tell me what you used and how it turned out. Thanks..

i recently patched a cracked Carbonlite Swift ADK 12 with G-flex; the patched area was a bit stiffer than the Carbonlite (3 layers fiberglass) but the bond was extremely strong. Roughed up the Carbonlite with 80 grit.

Thanks, Matt. It's good to know G-flex sticks to Carbonlite. I like working with a material I've used in the past, since I kind of know what to expect. The Plastic Weld has a lot faster set time, which is nice if you are working in stages because you can quickly move on to the next step. But it can also be trouble if you don't work fast enough.
