I had a nosey moose checking out my skis the other day. As soon as he saw me on the porch he made a bee line towards me.

Moose usually mind their own business when they're in your yard, but I had a hunch someone was feeding this one. This was confirmed when my neighbor said he fed him apples. This is rare because it is illegal to feed wildlife in AK.

First outing of 2026. Should been doing other things but when it's in the high 70's F in March, sometimes you just gotta hit the water. Ice went maybe a couple weeks back but the weather and my schedule haven't coincided til now.

Not quite as stable as a rope bridge. Instead, 3 layers of untreatead plywood for the decking & reclaimed roller coaster supports from 1927. Maybe it's an art installation, uncertain.
