I saw the video here on YouTube and thought to myself: I need something like that!

So I took some screenshots from the video and then I rebuilt the cart.

still a little paint on it and the little scales is ready.
This will help me a lot to put my canoe from backwards to the roof of my car.

Do you think it could be used for more then that little bit for loading the canoe? I guess it would need to be bolted on somehow for more rugged use.
Nice job though.

I did see those bolts but it is on the tapered gunnel and pulling forces want to slide to off. I’m thinking something that engages the deck (even a bungee cord) would help keep it in place.

I took another look at your setup and you have a cross bar right by the hand grip. A Velcro strap would do nicely.

Canoe Cart 4 Wheel Dolly to Transport Canoe with Four Wheels which allows flipping the canoe for easy loading on vehicle upside down is what I just posted a photo of

I understand that Joe. Maybe someone will be interested, but Michael lives in Germany and my suggestion was to maybe help him make what he is building more useful. Not taking away from your 4 wheel version.

@jim

here on the pictures you can see how I have solved the clamping.
There are two PE rails that clamp tunder he gunnel.
