Hey Trippers,
I'm seeking some advice. The Boundary Waters Canoe Area would be about an 18 hour drive for me. I've never been there and I'm trying to figure out what the BWCA offers that other classic tripping areas might not.
Algonquin Provincial Park is about 6 hours away (with no Toronto traffic), the Temagami Region of Ontario is about 8 hours, Quetico Provincial Park would be about 19 hours, Wabakimi Provinical Park would be about 20 hours, and Woodland Caribou Provincial Park would be about a 22 hour drive.
Based on your experience, what does BWCA offer that the others do not?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
