Thanks for posting. Really liked the tree gum purifying method at the 12:00 minute mark. I normally would put melted pitch into cheese cloth and squeeze out the hot resin into another tray. It is messy and leaves behind lots of goopy waste. Skimming the resin from the boiling water and then adding it to cold water seems a lot less messy. Will have to try that this summer.
