Bogan had TPLO surgery last December, went on two BWCA trips this year. He is 9-1/2 years old and the bravest dog on earth.

Yesterday, he had a tumor removed from the same leg. The tumor is throughout his leg muscles so much could not be removed. Biopsy results in 2 weeks. Doc said it’s likely a sarcoma that will repeat locally (not spread). That’s probably the best case scenario at this point.

Anyway, I’m a caregiver for a couple weeks during my favorite season. Time to plan an epic road trip with my best boy.

Good to hear you're both making the best of it. Cow dogs are great. I'm not much of a dog person but we had a heeler years ago and she was an awesome dog. Smart and fearless.
