It really is a great design. I wonder what boats in current production are comparable? I would guess the Advantage is one. Any others?

I've never paddled a prism but I would guess they'd be quite similar.

I used to paddle mine back to back with my magic and they performed quite similar. The magic was a little more maneuverable and the Jensen was a hair faster.

They're cruiser (4x32) specced, so they should be close to an Advantage. A bit fuller though. Apart from depth, they paddled similarly to the 17 C1F, which preceded the Advantage racer (current Advantage is detuned from first model).

Here’s a quick pic from Fish lake in OR, somewhat icy with a bit of shoreline snow. It’s a cool seasonal lake that essentially turns into a meadow in the summer. Fun to paddle “upstream” and explore the meandering channel.

Breezy at our local beach today, gusts near 70 mph. You can still see the contrast between the dark water from the St Joseph river in the foreground and the more green color of the Lake Michigan water offshore. Not my video.
