Used to do gunnel races as a kid. Don't think I'm up to it anymore.

I learned to do this at scout camp many years ago. Quit doing it maybe 20 years ago while demonstrating it to my daughter and other adolescent nieces/nephews. I slipped and fell onto a thwart injuring several ribs.

Very cool. I think I might rather use that paddle over some of the plastic steel paddles.
