My grandson's first paddle

Thanks to Robin, I was able to pick up a nice 13' tandem that he rebuilt. I purchased it specifically for my grandsons and was finally able to get them out in it. Here are a couple of photos of them in action; David, 10, is in the stern and James, almost 8, is holding his own in the bow.

Thanks everyone. Both these guys have been out many times prior to this. What made this little trip different (and special) is it was the first time they were captains of their own craft. I was really proud of how the caught on to making minor adjustments as they paddled along; something many of my college students struggle with. All in all, it was a nice outing.

PS - Just a clarification, while I'd love to put them in a wood canvas canoe, this one is actually fiberglass; although you'd never know it from the photos.
