JediJeff over on the myccr forums posted another vintage tripping video. Thought I'd share this one here as well...

Voyageur - Adventure On The Mississagi, Ontario (1933)

Really like the silhouetted figures starting at the 0:48 mark. You can just make out the bow paddler's pipe! The white water runs are really well filmed too. Really fresh fish at 3:04!

And they say w/c canoes can't do whitewater... maybe that's cause we don't teach the skill to our younguns.. I wonder if that is the stretch of river below Aubrey Falls?

Well Murat, you've done it again! What treasures you share with us!

You know, I most times feel ashamed of myself when loading my canoe, sort of aquatic grapes of wrath. And all the time I'm thinking; how the dickens does Robin get his load down so small?
Well by dab, I feel bunches better now: those guys when they were loading up at the first there, passed me by quite a bit!

Best Wishes and Thanks! Rob
