Water Proof Backpack/Bag

Well you all convinced me to change my approach. I have used a vintage external frame backpack from my scout leader days for ages. I put things inside in water proof bags. I also use a large fanny pack with the same system. After spending all day drying my packs after carrying the wet heavy beasts after a day of rain, I ordered the sealine pack mentioned here. It looks great. Now I have to develop a system to replace the individual pocket organizing I have used. I also bought a sealine waterproof fanny pack. Any suggestions on organizing my gear would be appreciated.

I'm trying a crazy idea that may just work. I have gotten accustomed to just where everything is in the 6 pockets on my old pack. I can find things in a hurry in the dark and don't want to give that up-so- I took the pack off the frame and put it inside the Sogg pack. Once in camp,I will take it out and have access and organization just as before! I'm headed for the ADKs shortly and I'll try this out.
