Recommendations for fixed blade knife

For much more than a few years, there was a good gathering of people who met at and around Allegheny Reservoir just south of the NY border. Jim was a big part of that. Lives and times change and these gatherings got thinner in attendance. He had a great deal of varied experience with whatever water was presented....

I like that idea of using the knife as a loaner, but only to the inlaws, I wouldn't let a friend use a piece of crap like that. I'm still waiting to hear back from Mora.

I was having an enjoyable read through an old and entertaining post when I came across this. To think that for all these years I've treasured this knife as a thoughtful gift. Only now do I find the truth.
