I finished the book, Canoe Trip.  He talks about wearing a belt for keeping survival gear on/in.  Perhaps this idea came prior to fishing/rescue PFDs, but I like the idea.  Does anyone still do this or just jam everything into their pockets and PFD?  I don't work for Kifaru, but I do have a 'bit' of their gear.  It is top shelf.
