I’m not sure if this link will work but I really liked this paddle with the deer horn attached as a rock guard.

I don't care for that pinkish arrow down the blade. What is that? A wood facing coming down the shaft into the blade? What kind of wood? If it's not a different wood than the greenish sumac, what is it? To me, it looks artificial and incongruous with the natural masculinity of the wood grain and antler horn.

The rest of the fellow's products are high quality and I'm sure high priced.

I assumed that the paddle has a Cherry shaft. Cherry is almost pink when freshly milled and darkens with UV exposure so that, in time, the shaft & arrow will turn a rich, dark brownish red.

The antler rock guard is an interesting addition. Any DIYers that want to try that will want to sand it outside (and, maybe, burn your clothing before reentering your house)

I like the use of Sumac.
