Jokes and Laughter for the Day

I don't know about that particular picture but I have heard of moose being used to plough fields by Charlie Planinshek at his homestead in northern Saskatchewan. Supposedly true but I couldn't find pictures. He did undertake an epic canoe trip with his two kids. Some links:

I wasn’t sure where to put it actually. In my mind it could fit several places. The statement is definitely my feelings on books and canoes. Come to think of it, my hardwood inventory.

You're not going to believe this , but there was a place here in Liberty that was just like this. It had a hardware, video rental, pool hall, tanning beds, indoor archery range, auto repair and charm school all in the same old building. They're all gone now, those were the days.

Thought I'd share a recent experience that struck me as funny.

I'm paddling upstream on a hot day over the 4th of July weekend when I hear music and see a kayaker coming around a bend further upstream. As I get closer I see about 8 kayaks scattered all over the river and all were pointing in different directions. All the kayaks were occupied by girls in bikinis with some of them singing along to the music. Judging by how loud they were singing and the topics they were discussing I'm guessing they had been drinking. So I picked up my pace and gave them as much room as possible and soon I was past them and listening to birds again.

Then I realized that I used to enjoy running into drunk girls in bikinis.
