Annual Trip To Umbagog or Time to Relax

I finally found some time to finish the write up from the latest Gentlemen's Trip to Umbagog this year. We had a scaled down crew this year, Scott, myself, Kayak Ken (in a canoe), John and Andy. We were very lucky to have a good wood source this year and had a blaze going the entire four days. Here's a link to my blog with the trip report:

Nice report. Spent many days on that lake and the Magalloway. One run on the Rapid in a Tripper tandem. Very challenging run! Cedar Stump is a nice site when the crowds are gone.

Zip Kellogg periodically runs around and shows an antique film of the 1940 American Whitewater Championships that was held on the Rapid River. Obviously, all the boats were wood and canvas.
