Guess its time to canoe the rivers more....

I know how bad blue algae is and I try to avoid it. But this year a lot of lakes around here have it pretty bad. Is there any harm with canoeing through it provided you dont tip over in it?

My canoe is narrow enough to slide between the existing rails. I do have foam canoe blocks. Would the roof be strong enough to just use my foam canoe blocks?
