After much research, I am on the lookout for a Starfire (Bell, Placid, or Colden)…Though I have not paddled one (yet), I think it will fit my style of paddling, as well as the areas where I want to paddle…and most importantly, accommodate my 60lb dog who is with me on just about every canoe excursion.
Just putting it out there that I would be willing to trade my Bell Wildfire if there was a shared resonance and interest in that as well…
Thanks in advance!

Gregor

This is the one I have seen most recently. I believe he has another one as well unless it sold already. Good luck, Starfire is a great boat 👍

Thank you! I saw that one, but it’s a higher price than I’d like to spend for the condition it’s in…if it didn’t have all that gelcoat repair I’d consider it…
There are two others on FB I have seen as well, but the sellers don’t seem to respond…

Gelcoat repair was due to a factory defect, so it was not damaged in any way shape or form. It was done by Paul Meyer at Colden Canoe in the manufacturing process. Thanks

That Colden is indeed a rare beauty and will find a good home for sure…I’ve since found an older Bell Starfire that I picked up today up in Maine…Thanks, Dustin!
