There was a little frost on the hull yesterday when I started out in the fog, but it warmed up quickly. There is a buck in the fog that you can barely make out.

Photo snapped of me and my Starfire at the Ozark Rendezvous last Thursday on Current River. Beautiful paddle and met some great folks. Water clarity was fantastic.

Silver Beach, Lake Michigan yesterday after the cold front blew the rain away (60 mph gusts, 14 foot waves). This is the calm after the storm. The St Joseph river empties into The Lake on the other side of the lighthouse.

Haven't done many pre-work paddles this year, mostly due to the dog's arthritis and harmful algal blooms. Managed to get out this morning though.
