Yesterday it happened again. The flower pail beside the front door had shed it's fake decor into the howling wind. Once again I tucked my shirt into my pants, pants into my socks, socked feet into boots , and waded thru knee deep snow, waist deep plants, to retrieve the gaily plastic fakery.
Then I did a tick check. Because in this part of the world there is no off-season for those buggers. No joke.
