if I'm taking the wife out in the brush for 4 days in November and December I'm packing a lot of stuff. But if it gets her out there with me I'm packing it.
This was on a carry from Attean to Holeb..single carry on the Moose River Bow trip . Made possible by a 23 lb RapidFire. The usual portage was flooded and I took the alternative that follows an old logging road but with much greater change up and down in elevation.

Mine is light, fast, and manoeuvrable, great for flat water tripping. My only issue is with the cheap aluminum gunwales, and plastic end caps. I bought this trim for the weight savings, but it is a long way from the beautiful gunwales I've seen on this forum.

It is a typical load for a 10 day trip in a too small boat for our size. This was taken approaching the last leg (2.2 km) of a 3 leg portage (5km total). We did 2 carries each on this trip.
