Not canoes, but the topic relates not the paddling vessel but to the camping location: the risks and rewards of paddling in to camp overnight on a Newfoundland iceberg.

Here's a solo paddler camping on a much more remote iceberg in a fjord in Alaska. 500' deep water. No PFD. No wet or dry suit. But beautiful scenery.
