Sorry .. Its some 20 hours from my house. The problem is we are all scattered around. I have the Allagash and Maine Island Trail in my summer sights to make up for our cross country trip in April-Jun

I'll be canoeing the Manistee River for 8 days in May and I'm not sure my wife would be very happy if I went back to Michigan for another week. She's usually tolerant of 3-5 day trips within a 2hrs of home.

Come on up to Belle Isle on Isle Royale. Be happy to show you around. June July and August. If it's may or early fall stop by Wolverine mi and the Sturgeon river

Grandpa Paddler, That sounds very tempting, unfortunately I'm doing 8 Days up in the BWCA in May myself so I won't be able to do another 8 day anywhere else that month.

Rocky Headlands, Do you have a place there? Or do you work for the park service? I was actually looking at a short Isle Royale Trip in the late summer/very early fall.
