Zoom in tight on Google Maps or Google Earth. The current image being presented of 7th and 7th Lakes in the Adirondacks shows a long string of small dots, which is the 90 mile canoe race in progress. along the road between 8th and Brown's Tract you can see dozens of cars at the parking pull out area where pit crews are waiting at the carry trail with their resupplies.

Hey, now that is pretty cool! Nice view of canoes headed up the lake and remembering that a paddler still feels relatively fresh at that point. A few boats are within talking distance and relatively few are drafting up. But beware young grasshoppers, Brown's Tract is just ahead;)
Thanks for sharing,
Dan (full disclosure - I have only done the 90 Miler once and that was solo in 2009)

That is super cool. Thank you for sharing. Thanks to yknpdlr and kahel for helping me get there.
