Here is a pic of the new yoke attachment. It has an embedded thread insert in the top. The whole bit is riveted and epoxied to the rail.

Any sense as to whether this will be able to be retrofitted onto older boats with the same rail setup?

Definitely. It is quite clearly a post-layup assembly.

I talked to Bill about this and he said that the gunwale discrepancy is typical across all boats. As far as the 14" spec, he said they would change the website.

Swift posted a video yesterday showing solo seating options, using 3 different P15 Solos. I pointed out that the depth didn't look like 14", and Bill responded that he thaught it was actually 13". They changed the specs on the website this morning to show 13".

Thats still fudging it by .75" (1.75" if you get aluminum or wood gunwales), but I'm glad they got it closer.
