I have an Old Town Tripper that was purchased around 2010 or 2011 and it has never been used. It has been stored in my shed since it was purchased. When I learned that the Tripper was no longer being produced, I decided to tuck it away. The canoe is in Maine and I am interested in selling it. If there is interest in this canoe, I will add some pictures and come up with a price.

GIJane, welcome to the site.

It usually works the other way. Serious interest is stimulated by pictures, a reasonable price, and a reasonable driving distance for buyers. There is likely to be interest for this model canoe in Maine. You will have more success here and in other places if you post several pictures, your asking price, and the exact location of the canoe.

The nature center where I volunteer just got a donation of several canoes and about a dozen kayaks from a university paddling program that was shut down. To be included in the donation was a pristine and apparently never used 1975 OT Tripper with a hull date of 1975. As we were picking up the boats a university dean showed up and claimed the Tripper for his cottage. The story we were told about the Tripper was an elderly couple donated it to the university program after purchasing it new and never using it. It was stored it their garage for 50 years.
