Sassy Pants canoe lift

OMG, that's funny. I'd like to send it to all the women (and a few men) I've heard say they need help shouldering a canoe. Thanks for posting, Robin.

She's from Yellowknife, I'm hoping to get some nerve up to ask her to "Friend" me on Facebook...haha, us heavy canoe folk need to stick together.

So I shared that video with several female friends. Several of them said it looked hard and requires strength. I wonder what it would take to convince them that it's easier than it looks. Maybe a 90-lb 8th grader?

Gotta get me some of those sassy pants! Wonder if they come in size 40 waist?
I don't know. I for one think you look sassy in those shorts and boots. I'll be back when I can find that picture of you. Say, you don't mind if I use that picture of you do you? Dave

Ha ha ha, your re-appearance is with great panache and humour. I laughed so hard I accidentally farted, the inner works have never been the same since that first Outers trip.

I can't find that darn picture of you. The one that just shows you from the waist down standing next to a canoe. You know the one. I looked through the whole picture of the day thread thinking it was there. I'll be up all night looking for it.

I love sassy girl's attitude. Her pants are nice, but her gung-ho spirit is awesome. My wife loves to walk the portages with packs while I always take the canoe. Force of habit I guess. This past winter while we read some pic heavy trip reports, she suddenly said "I want to try carrying the canoe this summer." I promised I'd demonstrate how. I think I'll show her this sassy pants video instead. She'll love it. I may never get to carry the canoe again.

I imagine that is royalex lite she is hoisting. I can do that with my kevlar boat, but not sure I want to try it with my Chestnut, I too have bat wings for arms.

Had I known you guys would take so fondly to this type of thing, I would have filmed me out in the back yard the past couple of days slinging the chainsaw cutting up some trees we felled. ;)

I was thinking more along the lines of my sassy chainsaw pants, well, they are actually chaps, and they go with me on almost all canoe trips.
