I'm not gonna lie, these are some pretty neat ideas.

I especially like that last one. I would have killed to have that as a kid. Could ya imagine??? Neat!

I like that dory hammock. Ya, hanging that under a tree in the yard woulda been neat, till Mom wondered where all her good pillow cases went. That would be worth getting grounded for!

Nice ideas but I cried a little to see all of those canoes out of the water! Lol

Pics from yesterday...

Some guy wanted to buy my cedar strip Prospector to hang like this. I said "no way." I wanted it to be used and enjoyed. Sold it to someone who fixed the split in the hull.

Now for something different. My Wenonah Prism set up for rowing:

And in use:

Well, finally got out today. There is a small creek open about ten k from my house. Lakes are still covered, but turning black. Took the Raven out for a spin.

That white stuff on shore is snow.

Everything is still fairly ugly, brown, dead, but a couple more days of sun should make the green spring forward. Felt good to use those paddling mus-cles again!

LaVerendrye, Quebec with my friend Gerald, circuit 16. I have grown to like that little tent.

Harriman State Park, NY Lake Kanawauke

This doe was moving her twins from one island to another in the middle of the lake. I'm guessing she gave birth on the islands to avoid the coyotes. Sorry for the poor photo - I didn't have the longer lens on the camera.

Harriman State Park, NY

My girlfriend and I spied this doe moving her twins from one island to the next in the middle of Lake Kanawauke. We guessed she gave birth to the twins on the islands to keep them safe from coyotes.

Sorry for the squinty image, I didn't have a big zoom lens on the camera.

We were in our Penobscot 16

Paddled Lake Skannatati and part of Lake Kanawauke with my Sweetheart.

Saw a beaver lodge:

Then we saw a doe who we assume gave birth to twins on an island in the middle of the lake. We saw her moving them from one island to another. I guess that may be her way to keep her little ones safe from the coyotes. These are some extreme crops because I didn't have the long lens on the camera:

A little too much wind at times but overall a great day.
