For "real-time" Sat images I was using Zoom Earth (after using the NASA version). I've recently switched to Copernicus which has somewhat higher resolution (still not the full resolution which is out there but not available on the free sites).

For weather I've been using Windy.com for a long time, it's good but as time goes by they are moving more of the info to the paid version.
