Yoke Pads

I stumbled over a piece of closed cell foam among the river flotsam. Perfect for yoke pads. I bought some vinyl and went to work. Probably have $5 in materials and an hour of work into them. I forgot to install the hardware off center, but otherwise I'm happy with them.

1/4" exterior plywood.

Very nice! I saw some that looked half as good at an outdoor store for over $50.

I have a roll of white pleather, more than I can think of uses for so if anybody need some for yokes or whatever send me a PM and I'll set you up.

They look nice, especially with those big headed tacks. I never leave home without my yoke pads, they really come in handy with heavy canoes. I used leftover canvas and they have held up for a long time.
