WTB: MR Independence (Kevlar) or an OT Penobscot 15 Solo

I'm looking for an MR Independence or an OY Penobscot15 Solo. I’m in SE Michigan, and finding one in Michigan, Indiana, or Ohio would be ideal. The better the condition, the better. I am not looking for a “project” that needs to be restored. Maybe there's one that was owned by the proverbial “little old lady” who only used it to paddle to church on Sundays.

Hard to believe I had both those canoes in my basement a few years ago. I inherited them from an overweight friend that purchased them but preferred to paddle a 16 explorer solo. Stored and rarely used by anyone for 30 years. The Penobscot 15 was never borrowed by the same person twice. I never rolled it but most did in easy canoe waters. I explained to each of the buyers that they were getting hard to find canoes they could always sell. $1400 for the wood trimmed Indy and $800 for the Penobscot 15.
