Hello y'all, I picked up this boat in the fall of 2016 and didn't end up doing anything with it last year. I'm ready to get it on the water and get the family out for at least a short trip this summer. I'll probably have a lot more questions as I get going but I'll start here. This Lamoille took another family of four to the BWCA many times in the 90's and I'm hoping it's got a few more years left in it. It has some damage that I'm hoping isn't too big of a deal and looking for advice on what to do with it.

First spot is along the keel, it looks like it's through the gel-coat and one layer of fabric.

This ding is on the side, below the water line where it starts to curve to the bottom. The third photo is the same ding from the inside.

The next two are spots on the inside, I'm not sure if these can be ignored or require attention.

Lastly for now, what's the best method for seat mounting with aluminum gunwales and kevlar? This canoe originally had wood gunwales, and they replaced them at some point. The brackets he has in there look pretty janky and I'd like to do it right when I put the new seats in it, along with a center tandem seat for the kids and a new portage yolk.
