SOLD: I have an Old Town Tripper XL in great shape. Dark green hull. Tan interior. Original ash thwarts and seat frames. Original web seats. Typical outside hull scratching. Kevlar stem plates in great shape. Stems show only very minor wear. The canoe was stored indoors all its life. Interior is gorgeous. This canoe is about as nice as you will find in a Tripper XL. Price is $1200 US firm.
Man - this went fast. Sold off craigslist. I think this shows how much people miss and value royalex canoes. I know I sure do. Nothing compares for any sort of rough tripping work. I had 8 people contact me in 48 hours. Probably shouldn't have sold it.
