Score on the trip to get the camper...

So On my trip south I scored 2 nice pieces of gear, one Pioneer double "cruiser" wool made in Canada jacket for $45 Canadian!! And a HB 5 stars Arvika racing axe for something like $50 Canadian!!

The Jacket is so thick I think it will be a great work/every day jacket for up here and also a great hunting jacket for the fall!!

So I did some improvement on the Arvika axe... Also found out it was made in between 1960 and 1972ish So I made a sheet and a leather collar for the handle... I don't think I will carry it around to often, it a 4.5lbs bit...so not the lightest, but for sure the prettiest of all the axe I have!!

Nice sheath but I especially like the protective collar. Makes mine look it needs to be replaced; although it does adequately do the job.
