Reasonably Priced Bent Shaft Paddles?

Hello,
I'm brand new to this site but I've been paddling for almost 50 years.

Does anyone have a line on reasonably priced Bent Shaft Paddles? I have two high end wood one’s but I’m tired of sanding and refinishing them. And honestly I like the less expensive Carlisle aluminum/plastic ones much better as they cost way less, no maintenance and are very durable. Unfortunately Chalisle no longer makes bent shaft paddles and I can’t find any other than the high end wood ones that in my opinion are a waste of money.

Everyone's idea of high end and reasonably priced is different. Prices for everything are high now especially for those of us who remember prices from more than half a century ago.

Good wood bent shafts are made by Fox Worx, Grey Owl, Bending Branches, Gillespie and Sawyer, among others. I don't know what the prices are or whether they seem high or reasonable to anyone else.

For many many years before I moved on to higher end wood paddles I used a carlisle aluminum paddle for its durability, and often still take it as a backup if I know there will be rocky shallows I wouldn’t want to use my nicer paddles on. My dad however always used a bent shaft aluminum Mohawk and it has always seemed like a better quality paddle in comparison to the Carlisle in every way. They are still made and are fairly cheap to order, much cheaper than most wooden paddles anyway. I have been thinking of ordering one myself actually.
