Modern Voyageurs 1920s

Nice video.

"Guided", I'll say. Sit in the boat and have the guides do everything but fish for you.

We need more carries with 'Little Trains'.

I liked it:
wood canvas canoes
beavertail paddles
canvas tents
cold handle frying pan
canvas packs

Looks like one of my videos just a little more blurry...ha

I found it interesting to compare paddling styles from this video to the Drowning River video. There were some real skills shown in the whitewater running on the Drowning, while in this one it looks like they are primarily switch paddling.....vwery interesting.....

That's a nice find. I camp in Prince Albert National Park every fall once the summer camping season is done. It's very peaceful. That rail portage is well maintained. We went for a hike down that portage in 2014 and made it 50 meters from the put in at the north end when a bear walked out of the trees and headed away down the trail. I felt no shame in turning back. The banner on my Youtube page is a view about a half kilometer from that portage on the Grey Owl trail. I agree about the switch paddling, but it did look graceful. Thanks for the link!
