I have a Mad River Monarch solo decked tripping canoe I bought new in 1997. It's in good to very good condition - last paddled in the day before yesterday in Tampa Bay, Florida. Regrettably it's getting to be the time in my life when I need to find it a new home. I'll appreciate any advice or offers you may have.

In search of mad river monarch

I’m looking for a monarch to help fulfill some tripping dreams. Anyone have one that’s not seeing the water enough that they’d be willing to part with, even reluctantly? I’m located in Duluth. Thanks for considering!

I just posted on the site that I'm regrettably seeking to part with my Monarch which I bought new in 1997. Over the years, when not on the water, it has been primarily stored in my garage via a Harken hoist. I now live in Florida and am needing to find a better home for it. I'm happy to discuss. As i live in the Netherlands i will nor buy your boat. I hope you can enjoy the outdoors in an other way.

I have moved your thread into the Classifieds forum because that's the forum for buying and selling canoes and related items. It would probably help if you stated an asking price.

A Mad River Monarch is still a sought after canoe among a niche of paddlers. You just have to find that niche. You can try doing so by posting your ad on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace in addition to here. There are also some other Facebook sites that I'm not up to date on.
