getting ready for a solo inside passage trip this summer, here's a video of my canoe being tested in strong winds on the flaming gorge in wyoming, anybody paddled parts of the inside passage? tips? wondering if there's chart that show directions for tide flows?

Why don't you contact the Canadian and US Coast Guards in that area? They are the ones who are obliged to recover the bodies and notify the relatives. They may well have some information you might find interesting.
