inReach Explorer Plus issue

Hello folks,

I am having an issue with my inreach. I cannot delete past weather locations so I can not request a new one. Can't find a way to delete them. Even had Chick look at it. youTube no help.

Thoughts?

You got my interested, as I have never deleted any off mine. Perhaps you have already tried this, but this is what I found on the garmin site, but have not tried it myself yet.

I don't have the Plus (just an Explorer) but like Mem, I've never deleted an old location.

At the very top of the screen, there is a (green, in my case) tab that says "new location" so I've never had to delete an old one to get a new forecast.



If you open an expired forecast, it gives you an option to renew the forecast for that area but that always seemed like a bad idea: "crap, it's not raining all week in the BWCA, shoulda gone there instead"

We went along the route mem provided on the attachment and all goes well until the end - I don't get the "delete" option. Blimey.

I'll give them a call when driving up.

I've always used the Update Location option. Seems somewhat accurate.
