I’m looking for a monarch to help fulfill some tripping dreams. Anyone have one that’s not seeing the water enough that they’d be willing to part with, even reluctantly? I’m located in Duluth. Thanks for considering!

I guess you know it is back in production at savage river ( or gbr newmann). There is a trhead somewhere here.

Beware of scammers. They tend to pick up on "wanted" classified posts and will send a private message stating they know someone who has what you're looking for and will then give you an e-mail to contact that other person. There have been a couple instances where the PM has come from an established users account, presumably because that user had been hacked so they had access to login credentials.

Keep your eyes out for a Clipper Sea-1 canoe as well. It's a little longer (17' 9" vs 17' 3") and a little narrower (28" max width), but is essentially the same boat. The Mad River catalog lists the Monarch gunnel width as 28" so max width might be 30".

I realize you live in MN but I'm pretty sure I saw one on a recent Hemlock Canoe post. It might be too far for you to bother with but maybe you have a connection that could bring it to you if you're not traveling east? Just something to ponder.

That's all for now. Take care and until next time...be well.
