First Time in a C4

Yesterday I had the opportunity to paddle in a Swift prototype C4... I've never ever paddled one before and never really have I paddled tandem. I had a blast in the C4...

Do the middle seats slide side to side? Those two big guys in the middle don't look like there is much spare room to slide for a better paddle angle. Try a voyageur class canoe one day. If you like the C4, you will like that one as well. I have raced both voyageur and C4 class canoes in the Adirondack 90 miler and on the Yukon River ever since 1997.

I think they slide? This was a prototype model as the mold is being built.

I'm the chub-a-lug in seat 2. It was a blast being asked to join in this short paddle on the Susquehanna. I'm sure the folks at Cornell University who will be the beneficiaries of this canoe will make it fly in comparison but hey, we had a great time.
