Hello
I didn't see this section until I already posted my first post elsewhere but found this site while looking for information on my older Bell canoe. My canoe needs some rail work and a fresh coat of WATCO exterior finish. Looking forward to some nice reads and experiences as well as some advise on canoes and solo trips. I have most of the books by Cliff Jacobson so most of my learned habits have come from that source. Took my first trip as a boy in 1975 in BWCA and have been active ever since but no real grand solo trips yet. Life, family and kids always got priority, but now at 62 I am more free to pursue some solo trips that I had never been able to do in my 91' Bell Creek Runner. I however have used it greatly over the years on day trips and fishing.
