Mine came from an old harness maker in Maine. I don't use it a lot, but when I have a tumpline or pack basket harness to make it comes in real handy.

Not to many know what they are let alone know how to use them. Searched high and low for many years to find another one. Found one in Vermont, brought it home, rebuilt it and can't sew on it to save my life! Jaw angle and seating position are different. Must be an Old Dog no new tricks thing.
