Indeed a fun trip, first in the Nomad. It's such a nice place in the fall. Can't believe it's been 10 years!
Hard to believe, seems like only yesterday! Too long! Good to see familiar faces. Anyone still trip up here?
Not me, I moved to Maine, pretty long ride thru Me, NH, Vt. I always enjoyed Lows, NY State has done a fine job protecting that beautiful place.
I was there, even the same site the last week in July. They had some nasty storms the week before, damaged canoes and a midnight ranger evacuation.
I try to get up somewhere once a month until ski season. We did have a nice snowy, hot tent winter camp and paddle before the ponds froze last November off Floodwood road.

Bruce! you made a bomber brisket in that aluminum dutch over with potatoes! It was a lot of fun, ,I do recall it raining on the way back to the put in. Gosh, 10 years....so much happened in that decade, one of my best 10 years. We too did a NJ Mullica paddle and I recall us hot tenting somewhere. I retired from teaching in NYC and located to Denver near our daughter, my 2 canoes have seen a total of 10 minutes on the water here. Basically all reservoirs here, I miss the Northeast lakes, streams and trees, even Jersey! Which I recall was your state. I hope to go to BWCA next year around this time and just chill.
