ADK Water levels

Am hoping to access the Saranac Lakes in a few weeks and heard water levels are low. Has anyone accessed Middle Saranac Lake via the South Creek access site off route 3? Wondering if the creek there is paddleable with the low water.

I haven’t been there this season; I never saw it so low as to not be paddle-able in the 20 years I lived in the ‘Daks. Good question though this year. I’d call either Adirondack Lakes and Trails in Saranac Lake, or Raquette River Outfitters in Tupper Lake for a definitive answer. I highly reccomend either outfitter.
