ACA certification

Is anyone here ACA certified? I took the ACA IDW for sea kayaking in the spring. I guess I have two years to take the ICE. Is anyone currently certified? Has it made much difference in your paddling? Did you meet other paddlers to go paddle with?

Take the ICE sooner than later. Yes I am ACA certified. I think it has made me a more efficient paddler and by teaching I keep revisiting the principles of good paddling. And with lots of interaction with students and instructors I keep learning new things each event.
