I’m visiting my dad in St. Mary’s County Maryland this weekend, and we took the kids over to the Calvert Marine Museum on the Patuxent River for a rainy day activity.
I happened upon a few nice gentlemen (Rich and Larry I believe) who are a part of the Patuxent River Small Craft Guild. They were showcasing a restored 1942 Old Town “HW” model wood and canvas canoe they had restored. It was up for raffle with tickets only $2 a piece. It was a pretty canoe and I thought some others on this site might have interest. I believe the raffle is active until the week before Thanksgiving.
