Thank you! I saw that one, but it’s a higher price than I’d like to spend for the condition it’s in…if it didn’t have all that gelcoat repair I’d consider it… There are two others on FB I have seen as well, but the sellers don’t seem to respond…

After much research, I am on the lookout for a Starfire (Bell, Placid, or Colden)…Though I have not paddled one (yet), I think it will fit my style of paddling, as well as the areas where I want to paddle…and most importantly, accommodate my 60lb dog who is with me on just about every canoe...

What canoe are you paddling there? It’s gorgeous!

Thanks for the photos and great trip report! I've been wanting to head down to the Delaware River for awhile now, so this has provided some motivation to paddle those waters for the first time... How do you like your Trillium? I used to have one...great boat...

I enjoyed going through this thread, though it’s a couple years old, and thought I’d post a photo of my Loba in my 1910 Kennebec…We’re not sure of her age, but she’s been living with us for about six years, has a lot of shepherd in her blood, and absolutely loves canoes…she’s very well behaved...

That is a 1993 Tom MacKenzie made Loonworks 15’ Mistral…a wonderful lightweight solo tripper…

Those are hooks for me to use either a removable kneeling thwart or a full seat. It’s rigged quite nicely for those options. I rarely use either though, as I prefer to kneel over a stuff sack. Here it is with one of Tom Seavey’s “Saddle Seats”: Here is the removable seat: And here it is...
