Hello from Michigan

I just completed my first through paddle ever, 123 miles on the Au Sable river in Northern Michigan. I just picked up a 1994 Mad River Eclipse earlier this season, and it proved very worthy of the slog into headwinds across ponds as well as in some of the more quick moving water. Glad to be a part of this group!

My friend and I have done a handful of in and out base camp trips there in years past. It's only a few hours away and a very famous river! We took a leisurely 8 days to complete it, vs the 5-6 days that most people take
